To whoever that comes along and check things out here.. well as you can see I haven't been blogging much due to exams that has beengoing on the past 3 weeks. It is not any different from most of the university students, if i am not wrong NTU and NUS people just started having theirs too, the only thing is just that RMIT exams starts much earlier.. anyway, now that exams have ended, I have slightly more time to do practically whatever I want//
Been spending tons of money recently, basically hanging out sessions with floorball people, beer drinking sessions with floorball people, floorball training, movies with floorball group.. well everything has been revolving over floorball... Which brings me to a halt here as I noticed that I haven't really been spending time with my other friends as well... namely my sec sch mates, bball mates, and of course my classmates... guess it is bad time management on my part or it is just that i don't really know how to spend my time properly. Well I will work on that soon enough.
Since monday(last day of exams!! whoopie), I've been going out every evening, guess it is widening the big hole in my wallet. Think i can only mend the whole once i come back from Melbourne... Anyway, I was out catchin a movie last night. It is titled Saving Face. It's a movie whereby it highlights issue about relationship issues in a Chinese community. It has character like a traditional grandfather who cares a lot about 'face', a mother who is involved with a man, 28 years younger than her, and a lesbian daughter. The entire show is okay, 3 out of 5 for me but it just pisses me off that there is a possibility of girl-girl relationship will slowly become a normality in Singapore and all over the world... and it pisses me even more when my brain wanders off and provide me with an image that in another hundred years, girls will take over the world like in Animal farm and you will see guys locked up in cells and their sole motives is to do hard labour and produce sperms so that human population is being maintained...this sucks lor....
But then again who cares right.. it ain't going to happen to me cuz it is going to happen in another 100 years..back to reality, after the movie, went to C.A.N cafe (geraldine introduced me to this), chill out for a couple of hours playing card before I went back.. but that was enough for me cuz it got me real sick from the cig smoke that was circulating inside.. it prolonged my blocked nose, got me a slight fever and aggrevated my sore throat... so next time if anybody wants to get sick pls head down to C.A.N cafe.. esp on fridays and saturdays... oh yah and for people who doesn't have enough cash to buy cigs.. there is an unlimited amount of second hand smoke there.. haha.. i know i know NOT FUNNY right?.. -___-"
Anyway, I went back home in a daze, showered and plonked on my bed with the tv to serenade me to sleep when Channel U started to show this show where there were 4 celebs discussing about male-female equality with 4 youngsters... normally I wouldn't watch the show but after watching Saving Face and how the youngsters perceive equality, I couldn't help myself to watch on and see what they think about the so-called 'treatment' that they get in life.. it is damn silly on how they look at things, can't they just conform to society? equality between male and female is bull lor... it will always not be equalt, we are just 2 seperate entities but looks good when the right one comes along.. something like a jigsaw puzzle you know... not all will fit.... I would like to type my queries and my analogy about equality but that's too time consuming. it will take me the next half hour.. so i guess i will just leave it till the next time.. I have to rush down for the RMIT counter strike briefing over at SIM.. sianz..
