Went down to Shi Ying's wedding at Mariott yesterday night. It began with a bit of awkwardness as there were so many familiar faces yet you have not been in contact with them for ages. But after a couple of beers, things sort of began to gel.
Sitting at the same table with them, a sense of nostalgia and curiosity about the future came to me as everybody was chatting about the past while viewing the clips of the bride, reminiscing the past, everybody was busy catching up and see how each other's life has progressed, how everybody are heading all in different directions.
At that point, wouldn't you think what would it be like 5years down the road, 10 years down the road, 15 years down the road?
At that point, wouldn't you think at the age of 23, you just wonder how fast time has passed and how people around you slowly began to evolve and change... No wonder, when you are 60, 70 after you retire, leaving off your pension, people would tend to take things slow and be in awe at the pace the world is moving..
At that point, wouldn't you think of how did we know each other? how we used to hang out etc...?
Just a whole lot of forgotten memories and unknown prospects..
Well, i will do a collage of the past and the future when I get my hands on the pictures from the wedding but for now, back to work....

Couldn't stand the awkwardness anymore.
Couldn't stand the misunderstanding.
I finally confess to her that I WAS interested in dating her. (I stress the word," WAS")
She was taken aback from my frankness and understand my position on wanting to clear things up.
Felt a load of my chest.
Now I can get back to my little cave and hibernate again...
